This now deleted 1999 Festival release is from one of the finest artists to ever come out of Perth.
Mark Lizotte had long been in the Perth music scene finally making the bigtime in Australia with his band Johnny Diesel & The Injectors.
He has since adopted the name Diesel for his own solo releases.
After being intoduced by Jimmy Barnes to his wife's sister Mark is now his brother-in-law.
Eliza-jane and Mahalia Barnes perform backing vocals on the track satellite and Neil Finn backs up the track Burning Water.

ReplyDeleteThanks heaps for this, I would have been happy to buy this on itunes but its not there (dammit). Very good material, pity he never got much credit for it. Dig is an AWESOME song.
