Mark Lizotte - Soul Lost Companion (1999)

This now deleted 1999 Festival release is from one of the finest artists to ever come out of Perth.

Mark Lizotte had long been in the Perth music scene finally making the bigtime in Australia with his band Johnny Diesel & The Injectors.

He has since adopted the name Diesel for his own solo releases.

After being intoduced by Jimmy Barnes to his wife's sister Mark is now his brother-in-law.

Eliza-jane and Mahalia Barnes perform backing vocals on the track satellite and Neil Finn backs up the track Burning Water.

Audio Paradox were a band based in Perth in the 1990's.

They played only a handful of live gigs and this album was released in 1995.

The album was an independent release on their own Paradox Label.

I'm 99.9% sure you will have not heard this album before.
